How Market Briefer Works
Market Briefer combines automated data systems with editorial judgment. This page explains exactly what is automated, what is reviewed, and where our information comes from.
Our process
- Market data comes from identified sources: Yahoo Finance (global indices, currencies, commodities, treasury yields) and CoinGecko (cryptocurrency prices).
- Automated systems collect and structure recurring market information throughout the day.
- Recurring formats publish automatically. The hourly Market Pulse posts are fully automated and each one is labeled “Automated Market Pulse.” They are not individually reviewed by a human before publishing.
- The weekday Global Close briefing is produced through AI-assisted research: the system gathers market data, checks it against named sources, and assembles the briefing, with automated checks verifying data freshness before publishing. It is not individually pre-reviewed by a human editor.
- The publisher sets editorial standards, reviews site output, and investigates corrections and reader reports.
- Market data may be delayed by approximately 15 minutes. Every data module states its delay and source.
- Corrections are documented publicly on our Corrections page.
- Market Briefer does not provide individualized investment advice. All content is for information and education only.
